Breaking Out of the Slump
Lately, I’ve had to admit something: I haven’t had the motivation I usually do. It started small — life got busy, priorities piled up, and instead of pushing through, I slipped into a slump. Before I knew it, one day of falling behind turned into ten. Now, I’m staring at everything I meant to do — rituals, writing, RiseWithTech tasks — and it feels like a mountain. My goal right now is simple: catch up. But here’s what I’m learning. Catching up isn’t just about crossing off the backlog. It’s about finding my rhythm again. Getting back to where I was doesn’t come from punishing myself for slipping — it comes from recommitting to the system that worked in the first place.
So here’s my reset plan:
- Start small but steady: instead of trying to cram 10 days into 1, I’ll layer in what I missed piece by piece.
- Protect my rituals: even 15 minutes counts — it’s momentum that matters.
- Track the wins: every day I check one box, it’s proof I’m back in motion.
The truth is, the only way to stay focused isn’t perfection — it’s consistency. Slumps happen. Life gets busy. What defines success is whether I stay down or get back up.
This week, I’m choosing to rise again.
