The Birth Of RiseWithTech
No Contact. No Spirals. Just the Start of Something Real.
My thoughts were spiraling. I kept rereading texts, replaying conversations, checking her socials, hoping something would change. It didn’t.
So I had to.That’s what Step Two was for.
The Seven-Day Detox
I was challenged to commit to seven full days of no contact, no social media, and no rereading old messages.
Not as a punishment.
As a reset.
I didn’t realize how many little things were keeping me stuck — how much energy I gave to tabs I never meant to open, profiles I shouldn’t be checking, letters I kept rewriting in my head.
So I had to start cutting it all off.
For one full week, I made a promise to myself:
- ❌ No reaching out.
- ❌ No checking her socials or stories.
- ❌ No rereading that final letter or old texts.
And I had to do it cold turkey — a full 24 hours before I could move to Step Three.
That 24 hours felt like forever.
But looking back now, it was exactly what I needed to break the cycle.
The Final Letter
Before I started the detox, I wrote the last thing I’d ever say to her. So I could release. That letter wasn’t about begging for closure. It was about reclaiming control of my narrative.
I said everything I needed to say — what hurt, what I hoped for, and what I was finally ready to leave behind.
After that, the silence became mine to keep.
Not hers to use against me.
Replacing the Spiral: My Daily Ritual
Of course, cutting contact wasn’t enough.
I needed something to replace the void.
That’s where my daily ritual came in — a set of small, intentional actions designed to help me protect my peace:
- Asking; what do I need today to protect my peace?
- Get moving. Be active and exercise.
- Hydrate.
- Spend time in the Word. Reconnect with my Faith.
- Respect boundaries
That last one changed everything.
The Act That Started It All
I had a few options for my daily act of self-respect:
- Make my bed
- Cook myself a meal
- Text a friend
- Start something creative
I chose the last one.
And that’s how Rise With Tech was born.
What started as one small act of healing became this blog — a place to blend my growth, my tech journey, and my comeback.
Why It Mattered
This wasn’t just about not texting her.
It was about not abandoning myself.
By stepping away from her world, I started building my own.
One ritual. One letter. One post at a time.
And trust me — if you’re where I was?
You don’t need another reply from them.
You need a routine. A plan. A path forward.
Still Rising
This journey isn’t finished.
This is day six of my detox — and every day, the steps get clearer.
This isn’t a story I’m telling from the end.
It’s a process I’m still walking through.
And I’m not rushing it —
because what I’m building this time?
It’s for real.
Step Two wasn’t the end of anything.
It was the beginning of everything.
Welcome to Rise With Tech.
Let’s keep building.
