I’m feeling a mixture of emotions right now. There is some grief that I believe is manifesting itself as uncertainty. My aunt passed away two days ago. I didn’t cry, but I did feel a heaviness for my family, especially my mother.
Along with that grief, I also feel hopeful. I have an opportunity to get my therapy back on track and focus on what I need to do next. I also keep thinking about how much I tend to overanalyze everything.
Today, I want to show up by bringing structure and discipline back into my life. Last year I started a set of daily tasks that helped me stay grounded, but over time I fell behind and eventually stopped doing them. My goal today is simple: complete one full day of those tasks and begin moving forward again.
One thing I can complete today is this journal entry. It’s the first thing on my list. If I can spend five to ten focused minutes writing without distractions, I know it will help set the tone for the rest of the day.
Today isn’t about making huge changes. It’s about taking the first step toward rebuilding the habits and structure I want in my life.
