What am I feeling right now?
I’m feeling a mixture of emotions today. Uncertainty. Not really knowing how to respond to a text I received. Feeling bothered after being lied to by someone I had done some work for. And, on top of that, butterflies in my stomach.
Those butterflies are coming from a combination of things. Some of them are difficult to explain, and some probably only make sense to me. I’m not fully comfortable putting all of it into words yet, but I can at least acknowledge that those feelings are there.
How do I want to show up today?
I want to show up with structure. I want to complete my daily tasks, remain confident in the person I’m becoming, and trust that the consistency I’m building today will pay off over time.
Today marks my fourth consecutive day of following this framework.
What is one thing I can complete today?
Seeing things through.
I’m tired. I’ve been dealing with a migraine, and I still have butterflies in my stomach. Even so, I want to finish what’s on my plate instead of shutting down or avoiding it.
Today reminded me that discipline isn’t about feeling motivated. Sometimes it’s simply about choosing to follow through, even when the day feels heavy.
