How am I feeling right now?
Right now, I’m feeling a mixture of things.
I’m full after dinner, and I can still sense a little anxiety in the background.
At the same time, I’m focused.
Right now, my focus is on finishing my remaining daily tasks—doing my stairs, writing this journal entry, and working through the rest of my daily checklist.
How did I approach today?
I approached today knowing I had important work waiting for me first thing this morning.
At times, the day became stressful because there were so many moving pieces to work through. Even so, I stayed focused and continued making progress.
What is one thing I completed today?
One thing I completed today was helping configure a tablet for one of our stores.
The process became frustrating because the software vendor’s preferred method didn’t work as expected.
Instead of giving up, I continued troubleshooting until I found another solution that worked.
Additional Reflection
That pretty much summarizes today.
Things became stressful at times, but I continued working through each problem until it was resolved.
I still find myself torn when I think about my future.
There are moments when I consider leaving my job, but there are also moments that remind me why I enjoy the work I do. Once the problems are solved and everything settles down, there’s a sense of satisfaction that makes the difficult moments worthwhile.
No matter what the future holds, I know I need to continue learning how to manage work-related stress.
No job is worth sacrificing my health.
Sometimes perseverance isn’t about finding the perfect job. It’s about learning how to carry yourself well wherever you are.
