Day 93 – Carrying Personal Frustration Into the Day

How do I feel right now?

Right now, I feel a mixture of things: annoyed, frustrated, hurt, and a sense of calmness.

That last one is kinda weird.

I’m annoyed and frustrated because dating has not been easy today, or this weekend for that matter.

Dating someone who doesn’t have a lot of free time is just… ugh.

You’re not always sure if they genuinely don’t have time or if they just don’t want to make time.

How did I approach today?

I approached today feeling a way.

Once I started texting my boo, I perked up. From there, I was focused.

I will say I completed a good, reasonable amount of work.

Frustration from my personal life ate at me today. I just didn’t feel like dealing with anyone, and I was already annoyed by some of my workload and certain coworkers.

My approach for today was simply to get what needed to be done completed.

It wasn’t the busiest day, but it definitely felt heavy because of the projects that needed to be completed.

What is one thing I completed today?

One thing I did today was complete the majority of the staging for a new store.

Additional Reflection

Today was a reminder that frustration in one part of life can easily spill into another.

I was carrying some personal frustration, and I could feel it affecting how I viewed work and the people around me.

At the same time, there was still some calmness underneath all of it.

I don’t fully know why, but I’m glad it was there.

Maybe part of growth is learning that you can be frustrated, hurt, and annoyed without letting those feelings completely take over the day.
